Make your life count by making someone else's life better! The following is a list of just a few of the ministries and organizations that New Hope supports and encourages you to participate in. In addition to these opportunities listed below, we offer short-term missions trips from time-to-time. Let us know how we can help you love others!

Community Pregnancy Centers of Northwest Ohio

A Christian agency providing free assistance for unplanned pregnancies, post-abortion trauma counseling, and education about abstinance until marriage. Volunteers can be trained to assist with counseling, answer the hot-line phone, or work in the office. Donations can be made of cribs, mattresses, car seats, diapers, towels and washcloths, blankets, baby shampoo, baby lotion, wipes, pacifiers, baby food, and much more.

Visitation to help inmates through spiritual counseling and encouragement.

Cherry Street Mission (Toledo)

This mission works to transform lives from homelessness, chemical dependency, and poverty and dependency to self-sufficiency through an abundant life in Christ Jesus. They provide emergency shelter, meals, rehabilitation, literacy and vocational training, resource networking and job placement assistance in the Toledo, Ohio area. Volunteers can donate cash, stocks, bonds, clothing, canned goods, automobiles, boats, real estate, collectibles, bequests, life insurance, charitable trusts, and donor-advised funds. Time can be give to help with food service, kitchen clean up, mentoring, administrative help, education, clothing bank, or food bank.

Fort Wayne Rescue Mission

A ministry to the homeless in the Fort Wayne, Indiana area. Rescue Ministries provides food, shelter, clothing and a hope for the future to those in troubled circumstances. Assistance is provided in education, employment, addiction recovery, and permanent housing. Volunteers can teach classes, coordinate recreational activities, provide parties for birthdays and holidays, wrap gifts at Christmas, provide transportation, conduct chapel services, help with cleaning and repairs, cut and style hair, serve meals, or assist with office work. Donations of money and personal care products are welcomed.

(Helping with Emergencies of Local People)

This local Williams County agency distributes funds to those in financial need for utility shut offs, gasoline, and medical needs. It also handles government food distribution for the Williams County area. Volunteers can donate money or food items.

The Sanctuary of Williams County Homeless Shelter

A local ministry which helps the homeless find apartments, obtain jobs, develop a budget, and locate permanent housing. Volunteers can donate money or items such as pillows, blankets, sheets, soap, shampoo, paper products, dishes, furniture, pots and pans, or bicycles. You can also volunteer to help clean, baby-sit, run errands, drive people to appointments, and greet the homeless when they first arrive.

Williams County Board of Developmental Disabilities

The Williams County Board of Developmental Disabilities works to ensure the availability of programs, services, and supports that assist individuals with developmental disabilities. New Hope Community Church proudly gives to the Family Support Services Fund which provides supports, services, and help to enable families to care for their family member with disabilities at home.

Youth for Christ

Aims to provide a Christian support environment for young teenagers between 13 to 21 years of age. The program is oriented towards meeting the needs of our young people to belong, to be motivated, to be useful, to be good examples, to be Christian witnesses and respond to God’s call to holiness.
