Care at New Hope

A place where hope is one step away

Crisis Care

Our desire is that you not feel alone whenever you go through times of crisis or difficulty. Galatians 6:2 instructs us saying: “Carry each others burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” Recognizing what Scripture teaches we would love to meet with you, listen, pray with you, and do all we can to give biblically based counsel, support, and encouragement. To schedule an appointment with one of our staff pastors, please either call the church office at (419) 636-1362 or indicate your desire to talk to a staff pastor on the communication card you receive each Sunday.

Hospital Visitation

If you or someone close to you is either in the hospital or planning to be shortly we would love to know so we can come and have prayer with you.  Please either call the church office at (419) 636-1362 or let us know on the communication card you receive each Sunday.

Prayer

We are committed to praying for your needs and concerns. If you would like to share a prayer request with us, please do so by filling out the prayer request form on the reverse side of the bulletin you receive each Sunday morning, call the church office, or fill out the form below. Members of our Prayer and Care Team are dedicated to praying for your request.

Stephen Ministry

Are going through a difficult time? A Stephen Minister can help. Stephen Ministers are members of our congregation who listen, care, encourage, and provide emotional and spiritual support to people going through a crisis or a difficult time.

Recognizing that at some points in life everyone faces periods of crisis, transition, or difficulty, Stephen Ministry at New Hope exists for the purpose of being a conduit of God’s comfort, hope, and truth in ministering to the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of people within the church family and community. Reasons for requesting the services of a Stephen Minister may range from grieving the loss of a loved one to experiencing a major illness, going through a divorce, job loss, struggling with substance abuse, or other life difficulty.

Those serving as Stephen Ministers are supervised and have been carefully selected and equipped through over 50 hours of training to provide confidential, Christ-centered care on a one-on-one basis. Typically this care is provided through weekly visits that are approximately one (1) hour in length and continue for as long as the care is needed and effective.

If you or someone else you know may benefit from the services of a Stephen Minister, you can call us at (419) 636-1362 or simply, fill out the form below.
